CO-DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL CENTER FOR MENTAL HEALTH DISSEMINATION,
IMPLEMENTATION, AND SUSTAINMENT
STANFORD CENTER FOR DISSEMINATION AND IMPLEMENTATION
Applications are invited for a full-time (100%) role as Co-Director of the National Center for Mental
Health Dissemination, Implementation, and Sustainment (MHDIS) in the Center for Dissemination and
Implementation based in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University.
MHDIS is a 5-year project funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
in the Department of Health and Human Services and is focused on developing accessible
implementation science-based resources and providing high-impact implementation support to build the
capacity of mental health providers to implement and sustain evidence-based interventions. The Center
for Dissemination and Implementation (CDI) is a national leader in using methods from implementation
science to solve problems in health care access and quality (https://med.stanford.edu/cdi.html).
The selected candidate will be appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor, depending on experience
and expertise. This is a superb clinical research and administrative leadership position that provides an
excellent opportunity to engage in meaningful, high-impact work and to develop a portfolio of
implementation science research within a collaborative and productive team. The role also includes
mentoring and educating trainees from Stanford and beyond. Candidates are sought for an
immediate start.
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology or a related
field, expertise in implementation research methods, and an early track record of productivity and
promise in partnering with health care organizations and generating translatable knowledge through
rigorous research. Demonstrated productivity via scientific publications and national conference
presentations is desirable.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience, ranging from $145k - $165k for appointment
as Clinical Assistant Professor.
